Benjamin visits the Dance Studio

We had the pleasure of welcoming Benjamin Mushuhukye of Reach the Children of Rwanda International to the Dance Studio this past week! After participating in a Dodge Ball Tournament last year at Erskine, we felt led to doing something more for the mission. The mission, Reach the Childen of Rwanda Internation (RCRI) is an organization that houses over 200 orphans who became impoverished after the genocide in 1994 in Rwanda.

We have been moved to do more for the children in Rwanda! We are going to donate all the proceeds to the organization from the purchase of water bottles! 82 cents of each water bottle purchased goes to help a child!

Just a reminder… if you have tuition or recital balances,
we cannot send your child’s costume(s) home until all balances are paid.

*2010 Recital dates are May 5th, 6th and 7th *

Recital Times:
Thursday, May 5th 7:00pm
Friday, May 6th 7:00pm
Saturday, May 7th 2:30pm
Saturday, May 7th 7:00pm

We will be sending notes home with your dancer’s Rehearsal & Recital schedule for
each class. Please make sure if your child takes more than one class, that you
check the note for each class. Some classes perform in more than one show.

SPRING BREAK ~ Make Up Snow Day
We will be open during Spring Break for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Classes to make up the lesson missed due to the Snow in January. Please make every effort to be here!

We would love your help backstage at the Recital!!!
As you can imagine, there is always a need for extra hands backstage at the recital. Be sure to pick times other than the one you would like to sit in the audience to watch your child. We will have a sign-up sheet in the lobby starting in April. Thanks in advance for all your dedication in helping make the recital a great success.

****We are going to be giving all the profit from Water Bottle Purchases to Orphans in Rwanda! Benjamin Mushuhukye is a missionary in Rwanda who takes care of over 200 orphans. He recently visited the area and we were moved to get involved with his ministry. You may recognize this name from when Erskine hosted a Dodge Ball Tournament back in the fall to raise money for a home and school for these orphans. 82¢ of each Water Bottle purchased will go to help an Orphan in need!

Here at The Greenwood Dance Center we have classes teaching jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop! The ages range from 3 year olds to 12th graders! We will start registration in April for the Fall Term!
